GREAT PR FOR REFORM RESTAURANT

Journalist, Susan Hampshire recently visited Lincoln on a press visit and stopped off at Reform Restaurant.

Here's what she had to say:

Lincolnshire, of course, is also known for its food - think of Lincolnshire sausages, asparagus, lamb and plum bread. The city is always keen to promote home-grown produce and where better than Reform Restaurant in Westgate, housed within The Castle Hotel.

Chef Mark Cheseldine and his staff use local produce wherever possible and we were lucky enough to sample some delicious Lincolnshire asparagus and lamb during our visit for dinner.

Reform, so called because the building originally housed reform school, is a great addition to Lincolnshire's food trail and is well worth a visit if you're staying in the city. The restaurant is a member of Select Lincolnshire for Food, a project that supports and promotes the country's food and farming.

Reform Restaurant received some excellent PR from this as Susan writes for the Trinity Mirrors series, resulting in her piece being published in the following publications:

  • Huddersfield Examiner
  • Liverpool Echo
  • South Wales Echo
  • Newcastle Chronicle
  • North Wales Daily Post
  • Coventry Telegraph
  • Birmingham Mail

The Reform Restaurant will now benefit from great national publicity with a credible recommendation.
